BROOKLINE, Mass. – The Elms College men's volleyball team rolled to a three-set victory over host Newbury College, 3-0 (25-13, 25-22, 25-12), in a New England Collegiate Conference (NECC) clash at Pappas Gymnasium Thursday night. Strikes from Crowe and Hernandez put the Blazers up 21-18, but a pair of kills from Newbury junior Joshua Thorne (Oxford, Conn.) helped the Nighthawks even the score at 21-21. Elms capitalized on errors and tacked on a strike from Hernandez to lock up the 25-22 win.

The Blazers took advantage of Nighthawk errors early in the third set, along with kills from Dimanche and sophomore John Dunphy (Farmington, Conn.) to gain a 9-4 lead.
