Men's Volleyball Selected Sixth in Preseason Poll
Endicott College scored a 47 of a possible 49 points to capture the top spot in the New England Collegiate Conference 2015 Men's Volleyball Coaches Pre-Season Poll.
The Gulls were named the number one team on six of seven coach's ballots. Endicott is the defending NECC Champion having finished 11-1 in Conference play a year ago. The Gulls were 19-13 overall and defeated Daniel Webster College 3-1 in the NECC Championship game.
Regis College was picked as the second place finisher with 32 points. The Pride had a 6-6 record in the NECC, finishing 12-11 overall. Regis was picked second on two ballots, third on another, fourth on three ballots and also had a fifth place selection.
Newbury College and Daniel Webster College tied as the predicted third place finishers with 30 points. The Nighthawks were 4-8 in NECC play in 2014 and finished with a 7-17 overall mark. Daniel Webster was the second place finisher in the NECC in 2014 with a 9-3 Conference record and was 13-14 overall.
