Cameron Named NECC Player of the Week
ATTLEBORO, Mass. – Elms College junior outside hitter Stephen Cameron (Newington, Conn.) was named New England Collegiate Conference (NECC) Player of the Week in men's volleyball as announced by the organization on Monday.
Cameron earned his first weekly accolade of the season after helping the Blazers to a 3-0 record during the week which included conference wins over Lesley University and Newbury College. During the three matches, Cameron smashed 27 total kills on 54 swings with just 10 misfires en route to a stellar .315 hitting percentage. He also recorded six service aces and 25 digs, averaging 2.78 per set.
