HOW IT HAPPENED

You could tell by the intensity of play that it was going to be a very competitive game. Emmanuel College got a shot on the net early in the game from Rj Darrell to the bottom left corner, Collin Liedke was already there to collect the shot keeping the score at zeros. Hoping to get on the board first in the game, Elms' Emmanuel Monge sent the ball to the upper left corner of the Saints goal in the thirteenth minute of play, but was unsuccessful with sneaking it between the posts. The Blazers had more opportunities on offense, but couldn't find the back of the net. At the 36th minute the Saints squeaked in their first goal of the night to put them up 1-0 to finish out the first 45.

At the 52nd mark junior Aiden Berube To start the second half, Elms once again tried to assert themselves on the offensive end, but early shots by Patricio Vidales and Monge were saved, resulting in nothing for the Blazers. Playing from behind and determined to try to produce a goal, the Blazers started to play more aggressively. However, a yellow card was drawn, and Guilherme Silva from Emmanuel scored the final goal of the game to go up 3-0. Still hopeful to have more success on offense, substitutions were made to try to put pressure on the Saints and result in a possible goal for Elms. When the final whistle was blown, the Saints came out on top 3-0.
