HOW IT HAPPENED

USJ wasted no time making its mark in the game. Two consecutive goals by USJ put them up 2-0 less than 12 minutes into the match, leaving Elms with an early deficit to catch up from. The Blazers scored their first goal off of a USJs' defencmen clearing a ball out of the box causing it to ricochet into the net to cut the deficit to 2-1. Emmanuel Ofori scored again for the Blue Jays, to put them up 3-1. Musa Jiana scored at the end of an offensive-filled first half to make the score 3-2 to close out the first 45. In order to get the win, the Blazers would have to lock down defensively, and put more pressure on the St. Joe's defense.

The Blazers were sidelined in the second half. Dane Stephens started the final 45 for the Blue Jays, scoring quickly in the beginning of the second half. Matthew Dima and Henry McGarrah V accounted for the rest of the goals for USJ. Elms was completely overwhelmed during the half, and couldn't produce another goal. Leidke made some late saves to prevent further scores, but the Blazers lost 7-2.
