Nashua, NH – The Elms Blazers men's soccer team won their Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) appearance against Rivier University yesterday afternoon, 1-0.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
In the first half, the Blazers attacked strong with almost knocking in 3 attempted shots on goal all held off by the Raiders.
In the 65th minute, first-year forward Andwele Salmon (New Britain, CT) knocked in a goal after a defensive breakdown on the Raiders end.
The Blazers outshot the Raiders, posting up 11 shots to the Raiders 8.
The Blazers also saw 6 corner kick opportunites compared to the Raiders 2.
