FROM THE DESK OF COACH WYSOCKI:

"It's a positive start to the new season. We're happy to come away with the two points, but this is only the beginning. We've worked hard in preseason on our fitness levels, our patterns of play, and our defensive posture, and all those aspects were on display tonight. The team were focused and ready, and even in the conditions, they showed a great mentality to get the job done. We still need to sharpen up a few things technically and continue to work on our decision-making, but for the first match of the year, we're delighted with the result. And after being sidelined from competitive play for more than a year... who wouldn't be?"

UP NEXT:

- The Blazers are back in action as they host conference opponent, Lasell University on September 4th for a 4PM kickoff.
