Men's Lacrosse Outshined by Lasell in Conference Action

NEWTON, MA - The Elms College Men's Lacrosse team traveled to play Lasell University in conference action Saturday afternoon.

BASICS
Score: Elms College 6 | Lasell University 17
Records: Blazers 5-8,  3-6 (GNAC) | Lasers 9-6, 7-2 (GNAC)

HOW IT HAPPENED

Both teams started off the game evenly, as first-year Miah Rondon scored an early goal for the Blazers to tie the game at 1. Elms had a couple of chances to score early to add to their lead, but were unable to, resulting in the Lasers scoring five straight goals to end the first half to go up 6-1. The Lasers continued scoring at will in the third quarter, as they scored the first two goals to go up 8-1. Elms would respond with goals from Rondon, first-years Jesse Hagen (Cold Spring, NY), and Luciano Jordan Canino (Dalton, MA), but the Lasers still continued to score at will. Rondon scored another goal for the Blazers to keep them in the game, but without any defense, Elms had a tough time stopping a plethora of Lasell shots. Canino would score the last Blazer goal of the day off a nice assist by Rondon, but Elms didn't have enough offense to keep up with Lasell, falling 17-6.
