Elms Men's Golf Ties for 18th at New England Championship

BREWSTER, MA- Sophomore Miguel Pearce (Guilford, Ct.) fired a 163 over two days to tie for 55th on the leaderboard, as the Elms College Men's Golf team finished in a tie with Western Connecticut State University for 18th place in the New England Intercollegiate Golf Association (NEIGA) Men's Championship Tournament at The Captain's Course on Cape Cod this weekend. 

Elms was in 17th after the completion of round one on Saturday with a team score of 340, they continued tallying up the strokes placing themselves in 18th with a total score of 693 after shooting a 353 in Sunday's Round. Pearce shot an 82 on Saturday tied for 56th place after the first round. The sophomore recorded a stroke less (81) than his prior performance dropping him to 55th place with an 163 tying with Jack Sicurella from the University of New England.
