Blazers Sit at 7th after First Day of GNAC Championship

NEW HAVEN, CT - The Elms College Golf team currently sits in 7th place after the day one of the Great Northeast Athletic Conference.

After day one of the GNAC Championship the Elms College team is 93 over par after 18 holes. 

Liam Fitzgibbons (Pittsfield, MA) led for the Blazers today, the senior had 6 pars during his round finishing 17 over. Miguel Pearce (Guilford, CT) finished 18 over with 7 pars on the first day of the championship.

Due to the sun setting a few of the teams were unable to finish out the 18th hole. Those teams will complete it before starting their day 2 round. The Great Northeast Atheltic Conference Championship play will continue tomorrow with first tee time at 10am.
