Pearce Finishes T6 in Castleton Invitational
CASTLETON, VT - The Elms College Golf team competed in a two day Invitational at Castleton University. Sophomore Miguel Pearce (Guilford, CT) finished T6 overall in the Invitational.

Over the weekend the Blazers Golf team ventured up north to play at the Rutland Country Club to compete in the Castleton Invitational. As a team Elms finished +142 with a score of 702 after the completion of both days. Round one the Blazers shot a score of 354, and finished strong with a score of 348 after round two.
Pearce finished first for the Blazers and T6 in the invitational shooting 21 over par with a total score of 161. The sophomore from Guilford finished round one with an 81 and beat his score with an 80 after round two.
Liam Fitzgibbons (Pittsfield, MA) made a top ten appearance with a score of 163, shooting an 81 and an 82 in each round. The Elms Golf team was also represented by Austin Scott (Chicopee, MA) who shot a 183, Declan Flynn (Hingham, MA) with a 195 and Connor Tobin (Northampton, MA) finishing with a 202 in the invitational.
