How it Happened

The Blazers went on the road Wednesday night to take on the MCLA Trailblazers. The Blazers fought back, and an Addison Phifer hit a three to cut the deficit to six points. The Blazers struggled to score again on offense for a period of time during the first half. Elms eventually strung a couple of points together from the free throw line, but MCLA still held their lead. Tahquell Cadle scored a couple of late points for the Blazers to cut the deficit to 39-36 going into the half.

The Blazers cut the deficit to 1, and eventually took the lead 53-51 off of a Tahquell Cadle made jumper with 12 minutes left in the halftime. Elms couldn't pull away from MCLA however, as the Trailblazers took the lead back. The game went back and forth, and with 5 minutes left, Aaron Sanchez tied the game with a pair of free throws.
