Blazers Drop to Lasers

Newton, MA – The Elms College men's basketball team took a loss on the road tonight vs. Lasell University, 55-112. 

THE BASICS:

SCORE: Elms 55, Lasell 112

RECORDS: Elms (1-13, 1-8 GNAC), Lasell (10-5, 7-2 GNAC) 

HOW IT HAPPENED:

Tahquell Cadle paced the Blazer offense off the bench scoring 22 points and adding 4 assists and 7 rebounds. Vashon Wilson was strong off the boards with 8 rebounds and contributed 4 points, 1 assist, and 1 steal. Roy Mckeithen scored 7 points and grabbed 5 rebounds in tonight's effort. 

The first half for the Blazers was paced by Cadle as he shot 6-10 and scored 16 points. 5 other Blazer players were on the board going into the half which saw Elms down 32-51. The Blazers were 12-36 from the floor (33.3%) and 5-6 from the freethrow line (83.3%). 

The second half saw 7 players on the board, led by Cadle who put up 6 points. Elms shot 9-31 from the field (29.0%). The Blazers fell to the Lasers 55-112.
