CHICOPEE, MA. - The Elms College field hockey team hosted the Colby-Sawyer Chargers Wednesday night where they held their final game of the season. Before the contest the Blazers honored their two senior captains, Samantha Bonneau (Skowhegan, ME) and Victoria Accorsi (East Windsor, CT).

How it Happened
The Blazers put the pressure on in the first quarter holding the Chargers to only one goal in the first 15 minutes of play. It wasn't until the second quarter did Colby overload their offensive end, turning a one point difference to five point lead heading into the half.
The Blazers' goalie was under duress most of the night with the constant offensive pressure from the Chargers but Kaitlyn Lynes (South Hadley, MA) did not fall under the pressure. Lynes collected eleven saves on 19 shots in the conference game, Lynes finished out the full 60 minutes.
The Elms College finished out their 2023 season with an overall record of 0-18 and a Conference record of 0-13.
