Six ECFH Players Named as NFHCA Division III National Academic Squad

GENEVA, N.Y. — Over 1,700 student-athletes from 157 Division III institutions have been named to the 2022 NFHCA Division III National Academic Squad, as well as more than 470 student-athletes have been recognized as NFHCA Division III Scholars of Distinction; the Elms College Field Hockey Program included six of those honored with two also being honored for Scholar of Distinction as well.
Field Hockey Falls to Raiders on Senior Day

CHICOPEE, MA - The Elms College Field Hockey team honored their seniors tonight on Leary Field before they battled against the Rivier University Raiders. The Blazers came up short falling 3-0 to the Raiders on Wednesday night.

CHICOPEE, MA - Field Hockey fell short 2-1 this afternoon against conference team, Anna Maria AMCATS. Senior Ellie Serra redirected the ball into the back of the cage to get the Blazers on the scoreboard in the third quarter.
Serra's Goal Keeps Blazers Alive in Double Overtime, Falling in Shootouts to Falcons

NEW HAVEN, CT- Post graduate Ellie Serra would score early in the contest, putting the Blazers up 1-0 for the first half. The Falcons would tie up the score in the third, ending the game in a 1-1 draw. Both teams would battle for two scoreless overtimes. The Blazers would fall to the Falcons in shootouts, final score 2-1.
Lynes Makes 13 Saves Against Chargers

NEW LONDON, NH - The Elms College field hockey team came up short against the Colby Sawyer Chargers, falling 6-1. Kaitlyn Lynes protected the cage as best she could against the Charger offensive push recording 13 saves in the contest.
