Newman Picks up Second GNAC Goalie of the Week Honors
Nora Newman, Elms (Senior, GK - Woburn, MA) - Newman made an astounding 39 saves despite a 0-2 week for the Blazers, allowing seven goals for a .848 save percentage. On the road at Union, she made 10 saves before stopping a ridiculous 29 of 32 shots to keep things close against GNAC powerhouse Saint Joseph's of Maine in a 3-0 setback. She posted a 3,50 goals-against average despite facing 46 shot attempts.
