Kuentzel Named GNAC Pitcher and Co-Rookie of the Week

Chicopee, MA –  Elms College first year pitcher CJ Kuentzel (Albany, NY) has been named GNAC pitcher and rookie of the week. The First year tossed 7.2 scoreless innings with 10 strikeouts (no walks) last week, including a nine-strikeout one-hitter on Thursday in a 9-0 win over Gordon. Kuentzel took a perfect game into the 7^th inning of the Blazers 9-0 win over Gordon College. 

The Blazers are back on the diamond on Wednesday 3/16 at 6:00pm when they travel to Lesley University in non-conference action. The 9 inning game will be played at Austin Prep in Reading, MA
