Bio

Thomas Weldon was a four-year member of the Elms College Baseball team from 2013-2016 and one of the most decorated pitchers in Elms Baseball history.

Tommy’s senior season was one for the record books. He was selected as an American Baseball Coaches Association (ABCA)/Rawlings All-American, the first All-American in Elms College history. He was also selected as the ABCA/Rawlings and New England Intercollegiate Baseball Association (NEIBA) and New England College Conference (NECC) Pitcher of the Year. Additionally, he was named a member of NEIBA and D3baseball.com All-New England Team. Tommy was a two-time All NECC first team selection (2014, 2016), a member of the NECC All Tournament Team (2015) as well as a three-time member of the NECC Academic Team (2014, 2015, 2016).

At the time of his induction, Tommy held the program single season record for wins (11), ERA (2.51), opponents’ batting average (.203), strikeouts (93), innings pitched (93.1), and complete games (6). He also holds the all-time program record for wins (23), strikeouts (240), shutouts (3), appearances (46), starts (41), complete games (16), and innings pitched (267). Tommy ranks 3rd all-time in ERA (3.84) and strikeouts/9 innings (8.09).
