Bio

At the time of induction, Cheryl R. Condon, the current head coach of the Blazers' softball team, is the all-time winningest coach at Elms (366 wins over 26 seasons).

Coach Condon has been recognized for her coaching efforts by being named North Atlantic Conference (NAC) Coach of the Year five times (2002, 2003, 2004, 2005, 2006) and New England Collegiate Conference (NECC) Coach of the Year twice in 2009 and 2010.

In 2003, she directed the team to a program best 28-7 mark and the first NCAA Division III Championship appearance for any sport at Elms. Overall since 2003, Coach Condon' s Blazers have made three NCAA postseason appearances (2003, 2006 and 2007) and also competed in a pair of Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) Division III Championships in 2005 and 2011. Coach Condon has been recognized for her coaching efforts by being named North Atlantic Conference (NAC) Coach of the Year five times (2002, 2003, 2004, 2005, 2006) and a two-time New England Collegiate Conference (NECC) Coach of the Year in 2009 and 2010.

In 2008, the college's newly renovated softball field was dedicated in her honor as Cheryl R. Condon Field.

In 2009, Coach Condon was inducted into the Rockland High School Athletics Hall of Fame. She was a three-sport athlete during her time in high school competing in basketball, field hockey and softball.
