The Blazer Athletic Club: It’s A Great Day To Be A Blazer!
A strong athletics program needs strong support from alumni, parents, and friends. At a time when Blazer pride and enthusiasm is at an all-time high, we encourage you to become a member of the Blazer Athletic Club by giving a gift to support any of our teams or in support of the Athletic Department. The Club has been created to provide additional revenue streams for the intercollegiate athletics program to supplement the operational budget and to provide opportunities for alumni, parents, and friends to be engaged in the Blazer Athletic Family.
Fundraising Priorities for Elms College Athletics
Student-Athlete/Team Support: For our teams to compete at conference, regional, and national levels, additional funding is needed. Examples include spring sport southern training trips, training aids, equipment, practice gear, athletic shoes, etc.
Coaching Support: Professional development support; updated software tools and other technology to support recruiting, scouting; resources to enhance individual skill development, team development, leadership development, etc.
Capital Equipment: Upgrading our competition facilities and locker rooms. Examples would include scoreboards, windscreens, goals, press boxes, etc.
Event Management: Upgrading and expansion of event management equipment and operation. Examples would include expansion of the number of web streaming cameras and equipment to facilitate all of our home contests; upgrading scorer’s tables; upgrade bench areas.
