Three Female Blazers Selected As GNAC Player of the Week

CHICOPEE, MA - During the week of October 16th- 22nd three Blazers, Jaylianne Ramos Figueroa (Boca Raton, FL), Jaylen Holman (Las Cruces, NM) and Gianna Liquori (East Longmeadow, MA) were selected as the GNAC Player of the Week.

Women's Volleyball Player of the Week

Elms (Senior, OH/OPP - Puerto Rico) - The senior averaged a stellar 6.00 kills, 1.00 service aces, and 2.89 digs per set while hitting .398 in a 3-0 week, which included sweeps over NVU-Lyndon, Emmanuel and Dean. She double-doubled in the victory over Emmanuel with 24 kills and 13 digs.

Women's Volleyball Rookie of the Week  

Elms (First Year, Setter - Las Cruces, N.M.) - Holman averaged 8.56 assists, 0.89 service aces, and 3.56 digs per set in a 3-0 week for the Blazers, including a 32-assist showing against Emmanuel.

Women's Soccer Goalkeeper of the Week

Elms (Junior, GK - East Longmeadow, Mass.) - The junior stopped all 19 shots she faced last week, making 12 saves to preserve a 0-0 draw with Colby-Sawyer before making seven more in a 1-0 victory over Rivier.
