Women's Soccer Showed Their Support at the Rays of Hope Walk

SPRINGFIELD, MA - The Elms College Women's Soccer team dressed in all pink this weekend showing support for those fighting against Breast Cancer at the Raise of Hope Walk on Sunday, October 23rd.

October is breast cancer awareness month, all month our athletic teams here at Elms College have hosted 'Pink Out' games to raised money for the Rays of Hope foundation on multiple occations this fall season. The women's soccer team held their 'Pink Out' game last week against conference team Colby Sawyer, where they had a donations table set up for spectators to make a donation during the game. 

This past weekend Springfield, MA held the Rays of Hope Walk which our Women's Soccer Team attened as well as our Athletic Director, Micheal Theulen and other Blazer Athletic family members. The Blazers wore bright pink pieces of clothing to show their support for those who are fighting against breast cancer.

Our Women's Volleyball team hosted their 'Dig Pink' game last week in Pickenlly Arena for their match against Northern Vermont University. As well as our field hockey team was able to hold their 'Pink Out' game this past Saturday during their contest against conference team Anna Maria. For both events on campus the teams decorated the gymnasium and turf field in pink ribbons, balloons and posters to show their support.
