Standout Goalie From Plymouth State, Lorin Field Labeled as Head Coach for the Blazers Women’s Lacrosse Team

CHICOPEE, MA - The Blazers have hired Lorin Field to be the next women's lacrosse coach for the 2022-2023 academic year. The Plymouth State University All-American goalie, competed all 4 years and has since continued her passion for the sport through coaching.

The native from Hollis, New Hampshire was a three sport athlete in high school. Post high school graduation Hollis-Brookline Retired Field's lacrosse jersey. Fields Graduated from Plymouth State with a Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice. She also was honored by the Panthers when they retired her lacrosse jersey after her graduation.

Field was awarded many accolades during her time as a STUDENT-athlete at Plymouth State. The 3 year team captain was labeled Plymouth State University's Female Athlete of the Year during her senior year. As well as ending her career breaking 5 records which included: Most Saves in a Career, Most Career Wins, Most Minutes Played, Most Games Played, and Most Saves in a Season. Along with these achievements, Field has been ranked numerous times for her Save Percentage for Division III, 3-time Little East Conference Defensive Player of the Year, 3-time All-Regional Selection, and 3-time First Team All-Conference Goalie.

Field began her coaching journey while she was still a student at Plymouth. She started working with an elite travel team, Homegrown Lacrosse out of North Andover, Massachusetts. She was hired as the interim associate coach for one season with the Panthers. Field also coached at Plymouth Regional High School, Bishop Guertin High School, and also worked as the Peak Goalie Camp Counselor at Endicott College. From 2017-2022 Field has been the goalie coach for the NEw Hampshire Tomahawks Elite Girls Lacrosse program.
