Men’s Soccer Tabbed Eighth in GNAC Preseason Poll

CHICOPEE, MA – Following a vote amongst the league's head coaches, the Elms College men's soccer team has been selected to finish eighth in the 2022 Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) Men's Soccer Preseason Poll, as announced on Monday morning.

When asked about the GNAC preseason poll head coach Mike Wysocki responded:

"We're very optimistic heading into this fall. We didn't hit the heights we hoped for in our debut season in the GNAC, so we have some wrongs to rights this year–"

"-we've brought back a very committed group who have been working to redefine themselves since last winter. They're going to be fitter, faster and stronger than last year, and their mentality has sharpened tremendously. Then we're going to be adding an exciting recruiting class to the fold who will bring a freshness to the group and challenge the status quo in the league. We know we're capable of more than last year's results, so we've committed ourselves to restructuring our culture and creating an environment more conducive to achieving our goals. The sky's the limit for this team, and we're excited to hit the ground running from day one." -Wysocki
