Eighty-Six Blazers Earn 2021-22 Academic All-Conference Honors
Chicopee, MA - Elms College placed 86 STUDENT-athletes on the 2021-22 Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) Academic All-Conference Team, as announced by the league's front office on Tuesday afternoon.
In order to be eligible for the conference's academic all-conference squad, a student-athlete must obtain a 3.25 cumulative GPA and have reached/completed second-year academic status. Across the entire GNAC, a new league-record total of 1,274 student-athletes were named to the 2021-22 GNAC Academic All-Conference Team, an increase of seven from the 2020-21 Academic All-Conference Team. It marks the fifth consecutive year that more than 1,000 GNAC student-athletes have received the selection, and (at least) the 14th straight year that the GNAC has recorded a new conference-record total.
