Twenty-Eight Student-Athletes Inducted into Chi Alpha Sigma

Chicopee, MA – The Elms College Athletic Department inducted its third class into the Chi Alpha Sigma National Honor Society on Sunday afternoon. Twenty-Eight Blazers attended the induction ceremony where they were honored.

Chi Alpha Sigma is the first, and only, nonprofit organization that was established to recognize college student-athletes who excel both on and off the field of competition. Founded in 1996 by then DePauw University head football coach, Nick Mourouzis, Chi Alpha Sigma continues to provide outstanding student-athletes with an opportunity to become connected within a fraternal association that aligns their educational and athletic successes for a lifetime.

FROME THE DESK OF COACH T: "Our Chi Alpha Sigma Induction Ceremony was a spotlight event this year! The energy in the room was amazing!  Blazer STUDENT-athletes continue to shine in all 3 of our commitment areas- academic excellence, athletic excellence, and leadership excellence.  The 28 inductees are the "best of the best" and continue to exhibit what it means to be a Blazer.  I couldn't be more proud!"
