Women’s Cross Country Takes First Place At Mitchell Invitational

New London, CT – The Elms College women's cross country team took first place at the Mitchell College Invitational on Saturday.

The Blazers had three runners in the top 10 and six in the top 20. Margaret Mathon (Williston, VT) would have the best day for Elms, finishing third overall with a time of (22:28.2). Not far behind her was teammate Julia Trezza (Wilbraham, MA) who finished fourth overall with a time of 22:38.8. Emily Guillerault (East Granby, CT) also had a strong race for the Blazers, coming in seventh with a time of 23:38.3.  

Elms will host the Blazer Invitational this Saturday 9/21 at Chicopee State Park.
