Cross Country Wraps Season At Regional Championships

GORHAM, Maine – The Elms College men's and women's cross country team wrapped up the 2017 campaign at the NCAA Division III New England Championship, hosted by Southern Maine University at Gorham Country Club Saturday afternoon.

Senior Sarah Tatgenhorst (Winterport, Maine) led the Blazers with a team-low time of 24:41. Freshman Keara Moulton (Ashburnham, Mass.) registered a time of 26:30, while classmate Tyana Medina (Springfield, Mass.) and Julia Trezza (Wilbraham, Mass.) finished back-to-back with times of 28:24 and 28:29, respectively. Sophomore Emily Guillerault (East Granby, Mass.) recorded a time of 29:08, followed by senior Sarah Kaczenski (Northfield, Mass.) at 30:42 and junior Alyssa Barnes (Pittsfield, Mass.) at 36:15.

For the men's team, freshman Robert Culhane (Hampden, Mass.) notched a team-low time of 33:45. Freshman Donald Cianciolo (Waterbury, Conn.) posted a time of 33:57, followed by classmate Brendan Curley (Chicopee, Mass.) at 35:21 and junior Kevin Corcoran (Waterbury, Conn.) at 37:07.
