The Elms College women’s volleyball team defeated the Visiting Dean College Bulldogs in straight sets on Tuesday night with set score of (25-10, 25-8, and 28-18). With the win the Blazers advance the New England Collegiate Conference semi-finals. Elms will travel to New England College on Thursday 11/7 to face the #2 Pilgrims.

The Elms College women’s volleyball team will host Dean College on Tuesday night at 7PM at Picknelly Arena, in a first round New England Collegiate Conference playoff game. The Blazers finished the regular season 15-9 overall and 5-2 in NECC play. Elms swept Dean in straight sets during the season with set scores of (25-13, 25-14, and 25-19).

The Elms College women’s volleyball team dropped a five set thriller on Saturday afternoon at New England College in NECC action. The Blazers lost on set score of (20-25, 15-25, 25-13, 25-21 and 7-15. The loss drops Elms to 13-9 overall and 3-2 in the NECC.
Jensen Selected Conference Rookie Of The Week

Laura Jensen (Torrance, Calif.) helped the Blazers to a 3-0 week. In a 3-1 win over Connecticut College, Jensen tallied 11 kills, four digs and three service aces. On the week the rookie totaled 17 kills for 2.13 kills per set. She also tacked on six digs, five service aces and a block.
