Women’s And Men’s Track & Field Competes at Smith College

Northampton, MA – The Women's and Men's Track and Field team competed at Smith College in the Carla Coffey Classic on Saturday.  

The Blazers had several athletes put up personal bests as well as break school records.

Sam ran 14.1 seconds in the 100m beating her best time and picked up a 9^th place finish. Sara had a strong showing in the javelin throwing 26.63 placing 2^nd overall.

Ricky Elmer has a great meet breaking the school record in the 1500m with a time of 4:40. That would not be the only record to fall on the day. Wes Morperus would break a school record as well throwing 10.4m in the shot put.

The Blazers are back in action on Saturday at the Springfield College Outdoor Classic.
