Vurno Picks Up 300th Career Point
Chicopee, MA – Vanessa Vurno (Salem, CT) reached a major milestone in the last night's 15-11 win over Rivier College. Vurno entered the game with 288 career points, only two away from the coveted 300. Vurno didn't take long to pick up her first point of the game assisting on a goal in the opening five minutes. With 7:13 remaining in the frame Vurno would get the magical point she needed and it was fitting that it came on a goal.
