Richard and Zadworny Sweep NECC Weekly Awards

The Elms College Women's lacrosse team swept the New Colligate Conference (NECC) awards with Haley Richard (Monson, MA.) selected as the Player Of The Week, and her teammate Alli Zadworny (Northampton, MA.) selected as Rookie Of The Week.

Richard tallied 5 goals and an assist as the Blazers picked up a 14-4 victory over St. Joseph (CT) in their first contest of the season. The junior shot an impressive 100 percent, netting all 5 shots she took. Richard totaled 6 points in the win.

Zadworny was equally as impressive, netting 3 goals on just 4 shots in her first collegiate competition. She totaled 3 points in the win for the blazers.
