Pantry Selected To NEWBA Weekly Honor Roll
SPRINGFIELD, Mass. – Elms College senior Niah Pantry (New Haven, Conn.) was selected to the New England Women’s Basketball Association’s weekly honor roll, the association announced on Tuesday.
Pantry led the Blazers to a 70-53 win over Wentworth in the season-opener on Saturday with a 23-point, 15- rebound double-double. The senior added one block, one steal and one assist, and hit 9-of-15 field goals and 5-of-8 free throws.
The Blazers return to action on Wednesday, hosting Rhode Island College in Picknelly Arena at 7:00 p.m.
