Blazers Claim # 3 Seed in NECC Women’s Lacrosse Tournament

MARSHFIELD, Mass. – The New England Collegiate Conference (NECC) announced the seeding's for the 2019 Women's Lacrosse Championship on Sunday afternoon following the conclusion of the regular season.

Becker claims the No. 1 seed earning a first round bye and hosting rights for a semifinal next week. Also earning a first round bye and semifinal hosting rights is No 2. New England College who wrapped up league play at 5-1.

Elms (4-2) claims the No. 3 seed and will host No. 6 Mitchell (1-5) in first round action while No. 4 Southern Vermont (3-3) will host No. 5 Bay Path (2-4).

The first round is scheduled for Tuesday, April 30th while semifinals are scheduled for Thursday, May 2nd. The semifinal winners will then square off for the crown on Saturday, May 4th at the highest remaining seed.

First Round - Tuesday, April 30th, 2019
Game 1: #6 Mitchell at #3 Elms - 7pm
Game 2: #5 Bay Path at #4 Southern Vermont - 4pm

Semifinals - Thursday, May 2, 2019
Game 3: Game One winner @ #2 New England College - 7pm
Game 4: Game Two winner @ #1 Becker - 2pm

Championship - Saturday, May 4, 2019
Game 5: Semifinal winners @ the highest remaining seed- TBA
