Cross Country Competes In Blazer Invitational

Chicopee, MA – The Elms College men's and women's cross country team competed in the Blazer Invitational at Chicopee State Park on Saturday.

The women's team finished 3^rd out of eight teams on the day. Julia Trezza had the best performance for the Blazers, finishing in 12^th place with a time of (29:02.7). Tyana Medina and Keara Moulton both had a strong race as well, finishing 18^th and 19^th respectively.

The men's team would take 5^th place out of 7 teams. Ricky Elmer would have another strong race for the Blazers finishing in 9th place with a time of (31:33.7). Rich Hernandez would take advantage of his last time competing in the race, finishing with a personal best 34:11.7.

Both teams are back in action on Saturday 10/12 when they compete in the James early Invitational at Westfield State University.
