Torres Selected AVCA National Player Of The Week
Lexington, KY - For the second time in his career Jeremy Torres (Juncos, P.R.) has been selected National Player Of The Week by the American Volleyball Coaches Association.
Torres helped the Blazers to an outstanding week that saw them win all four matches, with two of them coming against top-10 team. Torres led the team in kills over No. 8 Endicott with 18 while also notching seven dig. Torres followed that up with a match to remember in a win over #4 Stevens with 23 kills on .349 hittin.
Torres remains the only player in program history to take the honor. He previously won it on January 23rd of last year.
