Men’s Volleyball Has Win Streak Snapped By Wells College

Rochester, N.Y. – The Elms College men's volleyball team saw their 8-match win streak snapped by Wells College at the Golden Flyer Invitational on Saturday.

After dropping the first set, the Blazers were able to even the match by taking the second set; however, that would lead to Wells College taking the final two sets for the 3-1 victory.

Jeremy Torres had a strong match for the Blazers with 21 kills and 6 digs. John Dunphy pitched in with 14 assists and 4 digs. Jovanny Torres was impressive yet again with 20 kills and 11 digs, earning him a spot on the All - Tournament Team.

Caden O'Loughlin led the way for Wells with 31 kills and 8 digs. Josh Undari was also a big part of the match with 55 assists and 8 digs.

The Blazers will look to start a new win streak as they open up NECC play this Friday vs Southern Vermont College at 7pm.
