12 Elms Swimmers Earn NEISDA Academic Honors

WESTON, Mass. – Twelve Elms College swimmers were recognized by the New England Intercollegiate Swimming & Diving Association (NEISDA) for their academic achievement with selection to the NEISDA 2018 Fall All-Academic Team.

In order for a student-athlete to be selected to the NEISDA All-Academic team, they must have a semester GPA of 3.50 or higher.

Hope Daley, Summer Dwight, Ashley Krzykowski, Jasmine McDonough, Brittany North, Kelly Scianna and Victoria Wanko represented the Blazer women on the team. Elms men’s swimmers Eddie Capoldo, Kevin Corcoran, Paul Ferraro, Josh Guntly and Matt Nodel were also recognized.

This is the second major academic achievement for the Blazer swim program this week, as both the Elms men’s and women’s teams earned the Collegiate Swimming & Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) Scholar All-America honor earlier in the week.
