Three Elms Men's Swimmers Pick Up All-New England Recognition

Three Elms College men’s swimmers earned All-New England recognition from the New England Intercollegiate Swimming and Diving Association as Nick Bergstrom, Eddie Capoldo and Michael Grippo took home the honor.

To earn All-New England honors a student-athlete must have recorded a top-8 individual or top-4 relay finish in the NEISDA Championships.

Bergstrom finished fourth in the men’s 100-yard IM at the NEISDA Championships with a time of 56.62. Capoldo took an eighth-place finish in the men’s 200-yard breaststroke, finishing in 2:25.18. Grippo finished seventh in the men’s 100-yard backstroke (56.64) and fifth in the 50-yard backstroke (26.50).

In addition to the All-New England honors, Bergstrom was an All-Great Northeast Athletic Conference selection after winning the 100 IM (57.13) and 50 freestyle (22.34) at the GNAC Championships earlier this season.
