Men’s Soccer Battles Albertus Magnus In 2-2 Draw

Chicopee, MA – The Elms College men's soccer team battled their way to a 2-2 draw on Wednesday night against the visiting Albertus Magnus Falcons on Leary Field.

The Falcons would strike first 16 minutes into the game when Abdoul Aremu got in behind the Blazer defense from a through ball and was able to slide a shot into the back of the Elms net.

The Blazers would battle back and control play, after several scoring opportunities, Elms found the equalizer in the 43rd minute. Justin Szwajkowski (Westhampton, MA) received a perfect pass from Babba Jaden (Clarkston, GA) and ripped a shot far post into the side netting sending the game into the half (1-1).
