North Adams, MA – The Elms College Men's soccer team was defeated 4-0 by Western Connecticut State University on Friday in their first match at the Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts Tournament.
The Colonials got on the board on the 10th minute and would find the back of the net again in the 14th minute, and take a 2-0 lead into the break.
The best chance for the Blazers came at the 33:52 mark in the opening frame when senior Babba Jaden (Clarkston, GA) collected a loose ball off of a corner kick and ripped a shot, however a timely save from Daniel Szabo would keep the 2-0 lead for West Conn.
The Colonials would extend their lead in the 56th minute and again in the 67th minute and eventually take the game 4-0.
Julian Brosi was big in goal for the Blazers coming up with nine saves on the day.
