Elms Captures Mitchell Invitational

Groton, CT – The Elms College men's golf team took first place on Tuesday at the Mitchell Invitational @Shennecossett C.C.

The Blazers carded a team round of (319) to lead the field, edging Albertus Magnus College (324) by five strokes. Elms was led by Frankie Murray (Belchertown, MA), who's 77 was good enough for second place overall for the tournament. John Keegan (Pittsfield, MA) was only two strokes back of Murray with a 79.  Matt King (Feeding Hills, MA) would card an 80, which landed him in fifth overall.

Elms is back in action on Saturday 10/5 and Sunday 10/6 at the NECC championships.
