King T8, Blazers T10 Midway Through NEIGA Championships

BREWSTER, Mass. -- The Elms College men's golf team sits in a tie for 10th place in the 23-team field mid-way through the New England Intercollegiate Golf Association (NEIGA) Championships after 18 holes on Saturday.

The Blazers posted a team score of 321, 33 over par, 11 shots off round one leader Williams.

Matt King shot 76 on Saturday and sits just three strokes behind the individual leaders and tied for eighth individually.

William Marchand and Chris Soderberg each shot 80 and are tied for 33rd through 18 holes. Frankie Murray shot 85 and Christian Pavlakis turned in a 93 to round out the Blazer lineup.

The tournament concludes with the final 18 holes at the Captain's Course on Monday.
