Blazers Fall To Saints

Boston, MA – The Elms College men's basketball team dropped a non-conference game 81-63 at Emmanuel College on Wednesday night. The loss puts the Blazers at (5-10) overall on the season and (1-1) in conference play.

The opening 20 minutes saw back forth action with both teams shooting over 40 percent from the field. The Blazers held a slim 38-37 lead with 45 seconds to play, but allowed the Saints to grab the last four points of the frame and take a 41-38 lead into halftime.

The second half belonged to the home side. Emmanuel would score the first 10 points of the second 20 minutes and never looked back. Elms was unable to get anything going offensively, and only managed to put up 25 points in the half. The Saints would continue to pull away and take the non-conference game 81-63.

The Blazers had 10 different players score in the game with Justin Feliciano (Springfield, MA) leading the way with 10.

Elms jumps back into NECC play on Saturday 1/18 when they travel to New England College with a 2PM tip off.
