Baseball Selected to Finish Fifth in NECC Coaches Preseason Poll

Mandfield, Mass. – The New England Collegiate Conference (NECC) coaches have selected the Elms College baseball team to finish fifth in the 2020 Preseason Coaches Poll.

Elms College, led by first year head coach John Raiola, takes the fifth slot with 13 points. The Blazers return NECC All-Conference performer Nathan Ayala (Springfield, Mass.), who hit .364 with 23 RBI a season ago. When asked about the upcoming season Raiola said "We will bring a balanced mix of veterans who have played a ton of innings over the course of their careers, as well as a nice and versatile mix of first year players." 

The Blazers open up their season on Saturday 2/22 at 12PM at Clark University.
