Morgan Church is entering her second year as the Director for Sports Medicine and Performance in the 2023-2024 academic year. Church is responsible for overseeing all Athletic Training services in addition to her role as Head Strength and Conditioning Coordinator.

 

Church received her Bachelors of Science in Athletic Training from Lasell University in 2018 where she soon after joined the Blazers Sports Medicine staff in January of 2019 as an Assistant Athletic Trainer. Church served in this role from January 2019-Spring of 2021. For the 2021-2022 academic year, Church took on an Assistant Athletic Trainer role at Wentworth Institute of Technology before returning to Elms in the Fall of 2022 to assume her current role. At Wentworth, she predominantly oversaw Women's Soccer, Women's Basketball, Women's Lacrosse and Softball, but assisted in the injury treatment and rehabilitation for all 17 varsity sports.

 

In addition to being a Boards Certified Athletic Trainer, Church is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist through the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA), is Graston Level 1 certified, and is a First Aid and CPR instructor through the American Red Cross.

 

She is also a member of the National Athletic Trainers Association and the Athletic Trainers of Massachusetts.
