Hannah Adams Collects Consecutive NECC Rookie Honors

ATTLEBORO, Mass. – Elms College freshman Hannah Adams (Deerfield, Mass.) has been selected as the New England Collegiate Conference (NECC) Women's Volleyball Rookie of the Week, announced by the league office Monday. Adams has been named top rookie in consecutive weeks, and four times this season.

Adams continued to be an offensive spark for the Blazers in her freshman campaign, racking up 38 kills, averaging 2.71 kills per set, with 57 digs and five service aces in four matches. In a crucial five-set NECC victory at Mitchell, Adams logged a double-double with a team-high 19 digs and 13 kills with five aces. Adams added eight kills and 16 digs in three sets against Lesley, followed by a 20-dig, 12-kill performance in a three set battle with Castleton.

Adams and the Blazers return to the court when they host Southern Vermont College in NECC action at Picknelly Arena Thursday night at 7:00 p.m.
