Nunez Named NECC Player Of The Week

NUNEZ NAMED NECC PLAYER OF THE WEEK

ATTLEBORO, MA, Sept. 22, 2008 - Women's volleyball senior outside hitter Jeannette Nunez (Canovanas, Puerto Rico) was named New England Collegiate Conference (NECC) Player of the Week on Monday, September 22.

Nunez registered a team-high 35 kills, 10 service aces, 28 digs and a .221 attack percentage in a 1-2 week for the Blazers.

For the season, Nunez leads the Blazers with 95 kills, 20 aces and 78 digs.
