CHICOPEE, MA, Nov. 22, 2008 - Elms College freshman Ashley Arbo (Rocky Hill, CT) won three events, but Colby-Sawyer College freshman Dana Blauss (Hanson, MA) answered with three victories of her own to send the visiting Chargers to a 150-101 win over the Blazers in Saturday's women's swimming meet at Partyka Natatorium.

Colby-Sawyer improved to 5-1, while Elms College lost its third straight and fell to 1-7.

Arbo posted winning times in the 100-meter butterfly (1:16.75), 100-meter backstroke (1:15.91) and 100-meter individual medley (1:17.91), while sophomore teammate Theresa Pitassi (Naugatuck, CT) clocked a first place finish in the 200-meter freestyle (2:33.41).

Blauss was excellent for the Chargers, as she finished first in the 800-meter freestyle (11:05.61), 400-meter freestyle (5:19.54) and the 100-meter freestyle (1:08.11).

Freshman Morgan Parker (Keene, NH) added a pair of victories in 50-meter breaststroke (41.38) and 100-meter breaststroke (1:29.65) for Colby-Sawyer, which won for the third time in its last four meets.

Elms College concludes first semester action when it competes in next weekend's Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) Championship in Boston.
