SOUTH HADLEY, MA, Nov.  1, 2008 - Elms College freshman Ashley Arbo (Rocky Hill, CT) set a new school record in the 500-yard freestyle to highlight the Blazers' double dual-meet losses to both Mount Holyoke College (97-33) and Clark University (115-24) on Saturday afternoon at Mount Holyoke.

Arbo clocked a new school mark of 5:54.95 in the 500 and also posted a second place finish in the 200-yard individual medley (2:29.83).

Sophomore Dariana Diaz (Dorchester, MA) (2:57.53, 200-yard backstroke), sophomore Theresa Pitassi (Naugatuck, CT) (29.22, 50-yard freestyle) and freshman Katie Roberts (Torrington, CT) (1:24.48, 100-yard breaststroke) all posted fourth place finishes for the Blazers in Saturday's meet.

Elms College (0-3) returns to action for a double dual-meet at Simmons next Saturday, November 8. The Blazers face the host Sharks and Wheelock beginning at 1:00 p.m.
